Government questioned all institutions of the country: Amir Khusro

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that the Awami League government has questioned every institution in the country to stay in power and this government should be dismissed.

He said this to reporters while visiting Habiganj Municipal BNP general secretary SM Abdul Awal, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital on Tuesday. Awal was injured in a clash with the police during a mass rally program in Habiganj on August 19.

Amir Khosru said, "The opposition will not be able to protest. They will be shot. When they take shelter in a roadside, they will have to break the door and shoot them. Is the government's position at that stage?" What is the government's opinion that ordinary citizens can not protest?

In response to a question on the attack, he said, "Why do we tell foreigners? They are watching for themselves. They have representatives, embassies, human rights organizations, and the whole world knows as things happen."
