Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the leaders of the terrorist group BNP are trying to play the 'sympathy card' by showing themselves tortured and oppressed. By abandoning the politics of public welfare, BNP is getting weaker and weaker day by day.

He said these things in a statement on Monday. Obaidul Quader condemned and protested the recent statement of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir as 'politically motivated'. He said that BNP as a political party is not able to add any new dimension to mass politics. Therefore, the party's general secretary Mirza Fakhrul is regularly singing the same song in the media; Constantly making false and baseless arrests of torture and torture. They are adopting this tactic for the failure of giving any political program for the people.

Obaidul Quader said, BNP is an artificially created political party. Party leaders always try to create artificial crises in politics by presenting false, fabricated and politically motivated statements to survive. They should understand, not the opposition; Rather, the government has to work to control anti-state activities. So it will be better for BNP to refrain from anti-state and terrorist activities of its leaders and workers.

Awami League General Secretary said that the government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina is working to improve the fortunes of the people. Serving the people is the principle of Awami League politics. Awami League has always stood against the rule-exploitation and oppression and struggled for the people's rights. The democratic rights of the people of the country are protected by Awami League.
