The new committee has been announced at the end of the tri-annual conference of Kabirhat Upazila Aomi League in Nokhali. The committee has been nominated as the president and Zahirul Haque Rath as the general secretary.
On Wednesday (November 23), the leaders of the central and district committee approved the committee in the council session at the Kabirhat High School ground.
Advocate Shihab Uddin Shahin, Joint Convener of District Aomi League, announced the committee with the support of Union and Municipal Dalita councilors of Kabirhat Upazila.
Earlier, the upazila Aomi League's tri-annual conference was inaugurated by the convener of the district Awami League, HM Khatarul Anam Chowdhury Salim, at around 3 pm.
General Secretary of Aomi League and Minister of Transport and Bridges Obatadul Quader spoke as the chief guest from his residence in the capital.
