The fare of passenger boats has been revised by reducing it by 15 paisa per kilometer. The new decision will come into effect from midnight tonight. The Ministry of Shipping issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (September 1).
According to the notification, the fare per person for distances up to 100 kilometers has been reduced from 3 taka to 2 taka and 85 taka, and for distances beyond the first 100 kilometers, the fare per person has been reduced from 2 taka to 2 taka.
In addition, the per capita fare has been revised from the minimum of 33 taka to 30 taka. Accordingly, the per capita fare for the first 100 km distance has been increased from 2 taka 30 paisa to 3 taka. In addition, the per capita fare for the first 100 km distance has been increased from 2 taka to 2 taka 60 paisa.
At that time, the minimum fare per person was increased by 8 taka from 25 taka to 33 taka.
