Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will speak to tea workers via video conference tomorrow, Saturday. All preparations have been made in Sylhet for this purpose.

Tea workers across the country, including Sylhet, are overjoyed to know that the Prime Minister will speak. The district and divisional administrations are busy organizing various events to make this joyful moment memorable.

When the country's tea industry was in deep crisis due to the longest work stoppage in recorded history, tea workers broke the strike and joined work on August 28, following assurances from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Tea workers have already expressed their gratitude for the increase in their wages to 170 taka by the Prime Minister. Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina will personally hear from them on Saturday about their life's struggle. Finally, the tea workers' lifelong wish is going to be fulfilled.
