No plans to buy oil through India: State Minister

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahrir Alam has said that the government has no plan to buy oil from a third country through India.

He said Bangladesh can buy oil from India. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India will have a detailed discussion on energy cooperation with the country.

He said this to reporters during the Prime Minister's visit to India at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (September 4).
