Service recipients suffer due to strike by employees at PIO office in Ramganj

The strike is going on at the Ramganj PIO office of Lakshmipur in solidarity with the 5-point demands of the Officer-Employer Welfare Council of the Directorate of Disaster Management including the implementation of the manpower structure and the implementation of the rules.
The strike has been going on for 2.5 days from Tuesday (September 13) morning. The strike will start from Monday (September 12) morning.
It was seen that the service users coming from different areas of the upazila to take services from the PIO office are suffering. The officers and employees of the Upazila Project implementation officer are going on strike with stop work, while people coming to the PIO office from different units of this upazila are going back to service without service. Ramganj Upazila Project Realization Officer Dilip Dey said that the Duryag Management Act 2012 came into effect a century ago.
