Lakshmipur's new Superintendent of Police Md. Mahfuzzaman Ashraf has come into the spotlight for his exceptional skill in resolving the city's long-standing traffic jams and freeing sidewalks from encroachment.

Although many people have negative perceptions about the police, the Superintendent of Police is completely changing that perception. He has managed to earn the trust of the people within a month of joining.

In addition, the Superintendent of Police ordered drivers not to ride without helmets and not to carry more than three passengers, including motorcycles parked in random places while visiting shops, shopping malls, and restaurants in the market.

Earlier, the newly appointed Superintendent of Police inspected the Police Lines Mess and sat with all the police personnel to check the quality of food. He also visited RI (Police Lines) Md. Abdus Samad, who is admitted to the hospital, and wished him a speedy recovery and inquired about his treatment.

The common people of Lakshmipur district say that in a short time, Mahfuzzaman Ashraf has introduced himself as an honest and uncompromising police superintendent. To him, people of all classes and professions, including rich and poor, rickshaw pullers, are equal. The current police superintendent will be the last refuge of an oppressed person.

Lakshmipur's new Superintendent of Police Md. Mahfuzzaman Ashraf said, "Keeping in mind this slogan, 'Police are for the people and the people are for the police' and with the prayers and love of the common people, I will move forward to free Bangabandhu's dream of a golden Bangladesh from drugs, militancy and terrorism."

He further said, "I will say one thing to the people - consider the police as your friends, the police as the people's friends. The police are not only friends of the people, but also servants. The police have always been by the side of the people as friends of the people and will continue to be by their side in the future. Without the sincere cooperation of the people, it is not possible for the police to provide services to a large number of people."
