A tourist named Monirul Islam alleged that he had been beaten up on his honeymoon with his wife at Kuakata beach in Patuakhali, after leaving Monirul Islam and his wife fled with the attackers along with his ex-boyfriend.

The incident took place on the beach adjacent to the zero point of Zero Point Fry Market at 11:00 pm last Tuesday (20) night. Kuakata Tourist Police rescued Monirul Islam in an injured state but his wife Noor Jannat was not found.

The beating tourist Monirul Islam is the son of Anatar Hossain, adjacent to the KG School in Barguna district, who has been a long-time expatriate in Singapore.

Monirul Islam complained, ‘We came to the evening room after walking on the beach but when my wife repeatedly requested me, we went to the beach again. We stayed at the zero position of the beach. After a while, she repeatedly requested me to go for a walk."

Despite my reluctance, when I went to the dark in the dark, I suddenly attacked 4-5 people but I tried to survive and grab my wife but my wife did not try to save me and did not give any kind of call and shouted to those who killed me. I think she ran away with her ex-boyfriend.’

Monirul Islam's father-in-law Harun Or-Rashid said, "It is very sad but it is true, I came home with my son-in-law and searching for my daughter. I will solve the family issues myself."

Tourist Police Kutakta Zone Police Inspector Hasnain Parvez said, after receiving the information, I saw that the tourist was injured, we brought him into custody and did not find his wife. Later the tourist was handed over to his family.
