30 injured in police-BNP clash in Munshiganj

BNP leaders and workers clashed with the police in Munshiganj.

The incident took place in Muktarpur of the city around 3 pm on Wednesday (September 21) and at least 30 people including police and journalists were injured.

As part of the local sources, as part of the central program, Sadar Upazila, Munshiganj city and Mirkadim town BNP organized a protest march and rally in Muktarpur area of BNP city. BNP leaders and workers started to be around Muktarpur area in the afternoon.

If you want to proceed with the protest march The police stopped the BNP leaders and workers and started throwing bricks at the police. The situation was also fired by the police and fired rubber bullets and tear shells at the scene.

Munshiganj Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tarikuzzaman said that additional police reached the spot and brought the situation under control, and now the police are there.
