Police raid Jamaat office in Lakshmipur, 2 arrested

Police are conducting raids at an office in the Jamaat in Laxmipur, and 2 people have already been arrested by law enforcement agencies.

On Saturday (September 24) around 3 pm, the police started the operation in the south Tehmuni area of the city on that secret news. Later, Abdur Rahman (50) and Md. Two people named Suman (28) were arrested and they were residents of Sadar Upazila.

The members of the law and order forces have surrounded the office till the writing of this report around 4:30 pm.

 The OC (Investigation) of Laxmipur Sadar Model Police Station confirmed the poison of the operation and arrest. Mominul Haque.

The police officer said that the two arrested have been sent to the police station for preliminary interrogation. The office of the Jamaat has a large number of Jihadi books, which the police operation is still going on, and senior police officials are also expected to come to the spot.
