The Laxmipur Zilla Parishad Election 2022 will be held on October 17. Former Chairman of the Zilla Parishad, Alhaj Md Shah Jahan, will be elected unopposed in this election.

Meanwhile, in the evening, in order to re-elect Saikat Mahmud Shamchu as a member of the Zilla Parishad elections, a discussion meeting was organized at Ramganj Circuit House on Saturday (September 24) evening, which gave Saikat Mahmud Shamchu a party support for Awami League while two member candidates Nazrul Islam and Mahbub Khan Fahim Saikat have withdrawn their nomination papers in support of Mahmud Samchu.

Member of Parliament of Laxmipur-1 Ramganj Constituency was present as the chief guest in the meeting. Ramganj Upazila Aomi League President Advocate Safiq Mahmud Pintu supported the mobile phone and gave support to the mobile phone, Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, Svesasebak League, Sramik League, Krishak League, Fishermen League and other leaders were present in the discussion meeting.
