Jatiya Party (Japa) Chairman and National Assembly Deputy Leader GM Quader said that the support of the Awami League government has not been reflected in the fact that the government is doing it in power, one degree more than the BNP.
He said this while talking to reporters at Rangpur Circuit House on Monday (October 3).
In response to a question from journalists about the formation of alliance in the elections, GM Quader said, ‘No decision has been taken yet. It is very important not to go to the election. We will discuss with the leaders and workers of the party from the grassroots.’
Regarding the secret relationship with BNP, he said, ‘We do not make any secret ties, which will be transparent.’
Although Awami League has differences with BNP, the chairman of the National Party said, ‘The people of the country want someone outside them. The people of the country want social security. The people of the country want to be rescued from murder-rape-loots. We are taking our own politics forward and wanting to give healthy politics to the people of the country.’
Jatiya Party presidium member and Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa, Rangpur District Jatiya Party Ahbak freedom fighter Abul Masud Nantu, Member Secretary Abdur Razzak, Metropolitan Jatiya Party General Secretary SM Yasir and other party leaders were present.
