Ireland and Zimbabwe took to the field today in their first match of the World Cup. The Irish won the toss in Hobart and decided to bowl first. Despite bowling well at the start, Zimbabwe got a big haul in the middle overs thanks to a stormy innings by Sikandar Raja.

All-rounder Raja's brilliant innings of 82 runs off 48 balls helped Craig Ervine's team score 174 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
