Metrorail's Uttara-Agargaon line to be completed in December

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director M.A.N. Siddique said that the work on the much-awaited Uttara-Agargaon line of the metro rail project is about 95 percent complete. He also expressed hope that the entire work on the line will be completed by December this year.

The Managing Director of DMTCL expressed this hope while talking to reporters at his office on Thursday (November 10).

M.A.N. Siddique said, "The system integration work is expected to be completed by November. After that, the authorities will start the trial run."

"We will present the updated information to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will give instructions on when it will be opened to the public," said the top official of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited.
