Missed call alerts have been launched on the world's most popular messaging app WhatsApp. It is called 'Do Not Disturb.' If this feature is turned on, missed call alerts will be available on WhatsApp. WhatsApp Beta Info has recently revealed the news of this new feature. The website said that the Meta-owned company is going to bring a new 'Do Not Disturb' application programming interface for its users very soon. If this feature is launched, users will be able to get all the information about the missed calls received on WhatsApp.

Simply put, when the feature is turned on, WhatsApp will block all incoming calls. This allows users to attend meetings, drive, or sleep peacefully without any interruptions.

However, users will receive notifications about who called while the mode is on.

WhatsApp Beta Info has also shared a screenshot of the upcoming feature. It reveals that the feature is available in Android Beta 2.22.24.17. If you are a beta user, you can activate this feature by going to the app's settings. After activating the feature, you can ask one of your friends or family members to call you on WhatsApp for a few seconds. If you then see the label 'Silenced by Do Not Disturb' in the app for this missed call, then you will know that this feature has been successfully activated on your phone.

WhatsApp Beta Info also states that although this feature is currently only available to beta users, it will be rolled out to the stable version very soon.
