After killing the driver in Faridpur, the court sentenced five people to life imprisonment and sentenced them to four months in prison in case of fine of Tk 20,000 each.

The convicts are - Md. of Maheshpur village of Kashitani upazila of Gopalganj. Israel's son Noor Islam alias Nazrul Islam (44), son of Sheikh of Konagram in Alfadanga upazila, Monir Sheikh (34), son of deceased Akram Melya (33), Ennat Amin (39) son of deceased Mojibur Rahman of Banchaki village of Botaalmari and Miraj alias Mirage (39) son of deceased Ishaq Sheikh of Basyapur village of Kashitani were present in the court.
Nawabuddin, the public counsel of the case, said that on the morning of July 28, 2012, the body of deceased Chabur Sheikh of Dhuldjui village in Alfadanga was recovered from a field, the body of the deceased, Akkas Sheikh, was filed against the unknown accused.
