Locals rescued a huge crocodile from the fish enclosure in Gosairhat of Shariatpur.

Locals recovered the 8 feet long crocodile from the fish enclosure of Khalil Kazi of Pajalkandi village of Alwalpur Union of Gosairhat at 8 pm yesterday Monday (November 15).

Alaolpur Chairman Osman Bepari of the Union Parishad confirmed the matter.

He said that in the afternoon, the working workers saw a big hole in the ground in the fish enclosure, and when they suspected that, they made a trap with a thick rope at the mouth of the hole, and after seeing the huge crocodile stuck in the trap around 8 pm, the workers and locals informed the Union Parishad.

Osman also said that the upazila administration informed the upazila administration about the crocodile detention at the spot and the locals kept the crocodile at the same place at night and the forest department officials are expected to come to the spot on Tuesday morning and the next steps will be taken according to their decision.

Meanwhile, the huge crocodile was recovered from the fish enclosure Locals have been curious about where the crocodile came from. In the morning, people are crowding around to see the crocodile.
