Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has come to know about the establishment of one medical university in each department to further advance the health sector of the country.

He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the fifth national conference of the Independence Medical Council (Swachip) at the historic Sohraradi Udyan in the capital on Friday (November 25) afternoon.

The Prime Minister said that the father of the nation had arranged for the treatment of freedom fighters and heroes who were injured in the liberation war. He established all the Thana Hospitals, which he established important hospitals including children's hospitals, Nitors, and established the foundation of the country's health sector including the establishment of BMDC, Nipsom, BCPS.
