Police surround residential hotel in Banani on suspicion of militants

Police have surrounded a residential hotel in Banani of the capital on suspicion of being a terrorist.

Banani Thana police stationed around the hotel around 9 pm on Saturday, and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Gulshan Division DC Abdul Ahad confirmed the poison to Jugantar.

Banani police station OC Noore Azam said, "We have surrounded the hotel called North City. We suspect that there are militants there.

He added that the hotel in Banani and a mess were surrounded on suspicion of terrorists, we believe that militants may stay here for the purpose of sabotage. We have information for several days and we have launched the operation based on that.
