20 Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists arrested in Comilla

On the basis of Comilla's secret information, Chauddagram police arrested 20 people including the Amir of Jamaat during the Jati election and the BNP conference on the 10th.

They were arrested on Tuesday (November 6) during the plan of sabotaging the 3rd Kalikapur Union of Kalikapur Union, late at night, and confirmed on Wednesday (December 7).

Officer-in-Charge of Chouddagram police station Shubo Ranjan Chakma said that based on secret information, Kalikapur area of Kalikapur Union conducted a special operation and arrested them.

The police arrested 20 people including the president of Jamaat's Jamaatat Chauddagram upazila, general secretary, and president of the Jamaat's Jamaat, the president of Gholpasha Union, the Jamaat.

Comilla Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Md. Ashfaquzzaman said that the special powers Act has been filed against them and they have been sent to jail through the court.
