The nationalist party BNP is going to inspect the grounds of the Government Bangla College in Mirpur in the capital on the occasion of the rally on December 10. The news that a delegation of theirs is coming has spread tension in Bangla College. The leaders and activists of the college's Chhatra League are protesting.

On Thursday (December 8), at around 10 pm, the Government Bangla College Chhatra League received news that a BNP delegation was coming to visit the college. As soon as they received this news, they started a protest in front of the college and a protest march in the technical area. During this time, they kept shouting slogans in favor of the government and against the BNP.

When asked about this, HM Saddam Hossain, former organizing secretary of Bangla College branch of Chhatra League, said, "BNP, which is a sponsor of militants, terrorists and opponents of independence, will not be allowed to hold a rally in this college, which is steeped in the memories of the Liberation War. We will not let that happen as long as we live."
