Seven BNP MPs (MPs) have announced their resignation, which was announced at the Dhaka Divisional rally at Golapbagh ground in the capital on Saturday.

BNP parliamentarians are - Bogra-6 Constituency MP Golam Mohammad Siraj, Bogu-4 Constituency MP Mosharraf Hossain, Thakurgaon-3 Constituency MP Zahidur Rahman, Chapainawabganj-2 Constituency MP Aminul Islam, Chapainawabganj-3 Constituency MP Harunur Rashid, Brahmanbaria-2 Constituency MP Abdus Sattar Bhuya and Reserved Women Constituency MP Rumin Farhana.

BNP MP Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said in his speech, "We have come here after resigning. Rumin Farhana said in his speech, "We went to the party's decision. The people's suffering in the parliament cannot be said. In this situation, it is the same as not to be in the parliament. We have submitted our resignations in e-mail.
