Morocco made history by reaching the last four of the World Cup in a dramatic turn of events. The North African country, which straddles the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, qualified for the World Cup semi-finals for the first time after defeating Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in the quarter-final match.

Morocco, known as the 'dark horse' of this year's World Cup, became the third team to secure a place in the last four in Qatar, relying on the only goal from Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesiri in the 42nd minute of the first half.

The match between the two teams begins at 9:00 PM Bangladesh time at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar. Like the match against Switzerland in the last 16, the team's main star Cristiano Ronaldo was not in the starting eleven of the Portuguese team in today's match.

However, from the start of the match, the opposing defense was cornered by the dominance of the attacking players of both teams. In the fifth minute, Felix almost scored a goal by heading in Bruno Fernandes' cross. However, Moroccan goalkeeper Buno saved the team by diving to the left.

On the other hand, the African team was responding well to the counterattack. The Atlas Lions also got the result. In the 42nd minute, N'Nesseri jumped and headed in Atiyat's cross from the left wing. And that was how the team got the desired goal. After that, no one else could score, and Morocco stunned the Portuguese camp and went into the break.
