Jurgen Klopp's side fell behind early in the match at home. In the fourth minute of the first half, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, assisted by Patson Dakar, beat Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to put Leicester ahead. Jordan Henderson's team started to increase their attacking edge after falling behind.
