Two teenage girls have been accused of being raped in Kalatali's hotel-motel zone in Cox's Bazar, one of them has been admitted to the Oanstop Crisis Center of Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, but one person has been arrested, but the police have not identified his name.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station at around 9 pm on Tuesday. Rafiqul Islam confirmed the arrest of a person, who said that the police operation is still going on. The accused have been identified and one has been detained. His name and address will be informed later.
Police and locals said that 2 teenage girls were raped in a residential hotel called ‘Rajan Cottage’ in Kalatali Hotel-Motel Zone area of Cox's Bazar city. They were brought from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar for a dance performance a few days ago. The person through whom they came and handed them over to a gang, later raped them in Rajan cottage. They were taken in a bus in Dhaka on Monday morning but they were taken to a bus but on Monday morning. When he was sick, a girl got down from the bus to Ramu bypass area and went to Dhaka and took treatment at the local hospital after hearing the incident.
Noble Kumar Bau, resident medical officer of Ramu Upazila Health Complex, said that the girl was treated by doctor Nurul Huda Shaon in the morning. After receiving the statement of the girl, she was handed over to the police.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) of Cox's Bazar Md. Rafiqul Islam has learned that the police have identified the incident and one person has been arrested and others are being arrested.
Since the incident, Rajan has not been able to get any officials in the cottage, but the employees of the organization have been kept in police custody, but the police have not agreed to give any information about it.
