Body of schoolgirl found in Kaliganga river after 2 days of disappearance

Police recovered the body of a schoolgirl from the Kaliganga river two days after she went missing in Manikganj. The body has been recovered.

The deceased student's name is Samitha Islam. She was a ninth grade student of Manikganj Surendra Kumar Government Girls High School.

According to the police and family sources, on Saturday afternoon, his mother went out to go to the coaching center on Saturday afternoon. In the afternoon, her mother came to the coaching center and came to know that Samita went there. Later, she was searched for different places.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Manikganj Sadar police station Habil Hossain said that on Saturday morning, locals informed the police about Sami's body floating in the Kusherchar area and informed the police around 11 am. The body was recovered and sent to Manikganj 250 bed hospital morgue for maternity investigation.
