With the beginning of Magh, winter has finally set in in Moulvibazar. The country's lowest temperature was recorded in Srimangal on Tuesday at 9.7 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest temperature in the district this winter season, according to the local meteorological office.

Earlier, the lowest temperature recorded in the district on Monday was 13 degrees Celsius. Officer-in-Charge of the Srimangal Meteorological Department, Md. Anisur Rahman, confirmed this information.
