The record for the highest remittances in a single month was last year, in March 2025, expatriates sent $3.29 billion in a span of $3.29 billion in a span of just one year. According to the data, more than $640 million remittances came through state-owned banks in March, 46.47 million dollars through one of the two specialized banks (Agricultural Banks) and 264 million dollars through private banks, and 120,000 dollars were received through foreign banks.

However, no remittances came through 7 banks in this period, among these banks are the special Rajshahi Agricultural Development Bank or Rakab, private sector ICB Islami Bank and Padma Bank, foreign sector banks Alfalah, Habib Bank, National Bank of Pakistan and State Bank of Indica.
