Prime Minister seeks prayers to move the country forward

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought the prayers of the countrymen on the holy day of Eid-ul-Azha to transform the country from a middle-income country to a developed world country.

The Prime Minister made this request at a greeting exchange ceremony organized on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha at Ganabhaban on Saturday.

At this time, she sought everyone's cooperation to free the country from the curse of militancy, terrorism and drugs. The Prime Minister made a special appeal to parents, teachers, mosque imams and scholars.

Sheikh Hasina said, 'At the pace at which the country is moving forward, InshaAllah, one day Bangladesh will join the ranks of the developed world.'‘

At the time, the Prime Minister said that Bangladesh will be the most peaceful country in South Asia. Sheikh Hasina also highlighted her government's 'zero tolerance' policy against terrorism and militancy.

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the Prime Minister exchanged greetings with people from all walks of life, including party leaders and activists, judges and foreign diplomats, at her official residence, Ganabhaban.

The Prime Minister exchanged Eid greetings with people from all walks of life and professionals, including party leaders and activists, poets, writers, journalists, teachers and intellectuals, at Ganabhaban from 9:30 am to 11 am.

From 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, the Prime Minister will exchange Eid greetings with judges and foreign diplomats at the same venue.

Family members, including younger sister Sheikh Rehana, and top party leaders were present with the Prime Minister during the exchange of greetings.
