Sanitary napkins distributed to create awareness among students in Kamalnagar

Lakshmipur: Sanitary napkins have been distributed among secondary school students in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur to increase health awareness.

Sanitary napkins were distributed among 800 students of Smriti Girls High School in Hazirhat Towaha on Wednesday (September 13) afternoon.

During this time, Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman Advocate Syed Mohammad Shamsul Alam, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla, Hazirhat Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Md. Nizam Uddin, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Touhidul Islam, and school headmaster AKM Zahid Billah delivered awareness speeches.

Kamalnagar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla said that sanitary napkins have been distributed from ADP funds to make girl students aware. In the future, sanitary napkins will be distributed among girl students in secondary level educational institutions of the upazila.
