The biennial election of Laxmipur Health Assistant Association was held on Saturday (September 30) morning in the hall of Sadar Hospital. It has been elected as President Jamal Uddin as President, Rafiqul Islam as General Secretary and Md. Sahabuddin as Organizing Secretary.
Others in the 21-member full committee are Vice President Makchudur Rahman Manik, Borhan Uddin Chowdhury, Billal Hossain, Joint General Secretary ANM Abdul Karim, Finance Secretary Firoz Alam, Women Secretary Khadija Begum, Co-Women Editor Mahmuda Akhtar, Publicity and Publication Editor Md. Feroz, Crea and Cultural Secretary E.
The general secretary of the organization, Rafiqul Islam, said that the elections were held in the presence of the district and upazila organizers. The leaders of the new committee demanded the Health Assistant Association and all the workers of the field level will be next to the workers.
