Lakshmipur: A rally and discussion meeting was held in Kamalnagar on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. The rally and discussion meeting was held at the initiative of the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Kamalnagar branch. The discussion meeting was presided over by Dr. Ismail Hossain Biplob, President of the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Kamalnagar branch, at Hazirhat Union Parishad Hall Room.

Under the direction of General Secretary Belayet Hossain Howlader, the chief guest was Nizam Uddin, Vice President of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Laxmipur Regional Committee and Chairman of No. 7 Hazirhat Union, special guests were freedom fighter and BAMAC Kamalnagar Vice President Nur Nabi Chowdhury, Vice President Jamal Uddin Abbas, and Co-President Yakub Nuri. BAMAC Upazila Joint General Secretary Nur Nabi and Nilendu Kanti Das, Organizing Secretary Abbas Uddin, Joint Organizing Secretary Habibur Rahman and Ariful Islam Tarek, Sabuj Bangladesh Upazila President and humanitarian Ali Azam also spoke. Leaders of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Kamalnagar branch and leaders of Sabuj Bangladesh Kamalnagar branch, journalists of Kamalnagar Reporters Club were present. The speakers said in their speeches that we, all humanitarians, will always devote ourselves to the service of the oppressed and oppressed people.
