The Central Chhatra League has announced the date of the Laxmipur District Chhatra League conference. The Central Chhatra League confirmed the matter through a press release on its own web portal on Monday (December 11) at 5:30 pm. Meanwhile, soon after the announcement of the date of the Chhatra League conference, disappointment arose among various leaders and activists of the District Chhatra League. Many expressed their disappointment directly and through Facebook statuses.

The press release read, "According to an urgent decision of the Bangladesh Chhatra League Central Executive Council, it is hereby announced that the conference date has been set for Saturday, December 23, 2017, in order to make the Lakshmipur district branch more dynamic and active."

Therefore, instructions have been given to make all preparations for the Lakshmipur District Branch Conference on Saturday, December 23, 2017 and to complete it successfully.
