Laxmipur: A 3-day long sermon and prayer mahfil of Kamalnagar Hazirhat Hamediya Fazil Degree Madrasa in Laxmipur. The mahfil will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 21, 22 and 23. The chief guest will be the 31st descendant of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Khatib Alhaj Hazrat Allama Syed Anwar Hossain Taher Jaberi Al Madani of Andar Killa Jame Mosque, Chittagong. Special guests include Pir Sahib Barguna Hazrat Maulana Helal Uddin Osmani, Maulana Ishmail, renowned preacher Maulana Yakub Sharif of Bhola and other preachers from all over the country. The principal of Hazirhat Hamediya Fazil Degree (proposed Kamil) Madrasa will preside over the mahfil. Md. Zayed Hossain Farooqui, will preside over the mahfil.
