Aoatar Hossain, the Aotar Hossain, has been elected privately in the Char Alexander Unit Council (UP) elections of Ramgati Upazila in Laxmipur. He has got 6,343 votes in the boat symbol.
On Thursday (December 28) polling will be held from 8 am to 4 pm. After the counting, Ramgati upazila election officer Md. Ariful Islam confirmed this information.
He said that the nearest rival JSD candidate Nazmul Hasan of Biji Antar Hossain, who has won 2 thousand 347 votes, has got the symbol.
