It has been reported that a student named Sanjida Sultana Srabanti committed suicide after failing to pass the JSC exam in Lakshmipur.
(Today) Police recovered the body of the deceased hanging around 9 am on Sunday and sent it to the Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital morgue. Earlier in the morning, family sources said that Srabanti committed suicide by hanging herself with a veil around the door frame of her own house. The deceased student is the daughter of Md. Shaheen of Charuruhita village in Sadar upazila and a student of the local Rasulganj Bahumukhi High School.
The deceased's uncle Mahbubur Rahman, local UP chairman and school managing committee president Humayun Kabir Patwary confirmed the matter. However, no one agreed to say anything in front of the camera.
Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Lokman Hossain said the student's body has been recovered and sent to the hospital for autopsy.
