The Liberation War Spirit Journalists Forum will form a human chain to protest against the derogatory statements and threats made by Gono Forum President and Jatiya Oikyafront leader Dr. Kamal Hossain against journalists.

The organization has announced that the human chain program will be held in front of the National Press Club at 11 am this Saturday.
Earlier on Friday morning, Dr. Kamal Hossain went to pay homage at the Martyred Intellectuals' Memorial. At that time, when journalists asked about 'Oikyafont's position on the Jamaat issue in the upcoming elections', Dr. Kamal Hossain rebuked the journalists and asked them with disrespect 'How much money did you get? With whose money are you asking these useless questions, what is your name? I will see, which TV/magazine do you work for, I will recognize you'. He threatened and intimidated them in this way. Which was seen by crores of viewers in Bangladesh.

A teacher from Islamic University has filed a general diary against Dr. Kamal Hossain at Kushtia's EB police station on charges of threatening and intimidating journalists.
