Following the Pulwama incident, Indian fighter jets 'Mirage 2000' entered deep inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the darkness of the early hours of Tuesday and bombed it. 24 hours after India's retaliation, Pakistani fighter jets violated the country's airspace.

Three Pakistani fighter jets were reportedly spotted in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. However, the Indian Air Force was activated as soon as they were detected on radar. India claims that the Pakistani fighter jets eventually returned after chasing them. However, it is reported that they dropped a bomb before returning to Pakistan.
According to Indian military sources, three F-16 aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force, made with US technology, entered Nowshera this morning. The Indian Air Force was activated as soon as they were detected on the radar. The aircraft were chased and sent back. One of them was shot down. However, its pilot managed to jump out of the aircraft and escape across the Line of Control.
