Women's Day celebrated in Kamalnagar

Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Lakshmipur): International Women's Day was celebrated in Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur with the theme “Everyone think, do something new, the new world of equality for men and women’.
On this occasion, a rally was held on Friday morning by the Upazila Administration and Women's Department of Women.

In the speech, the chief guest, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Imtiz Hossain said, "Women are not behind any work. The role of women in society is different. Well-educated women are the craftsmen of the nation. Every woman should be well-educated. Women should be educated. Women abuse, child marriage, dowry, sexual harassment, women's movements."

Upazila Secondary Officer, Tawhidul Islam, Agriculture Officer Iktarul Islam, Social Service Officer Md. Masud also spoke.

Md. Morshed Alam, the female officer, presided.
