Sajeda Akhter Sumi is the female vice chairman (call sign) in the Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad elections in Lakshmipur. She is at the top of the discussion among the general public during the election campaign. She is playing an active role in various social activities to develop women's leadership. She is going door to door in neighborhoods and villages. She is explaining the manifesto in the election campaign in few words. The female vice chairman candidate is making everyone aware of the vote. How to work for women's leadership and society. Sajeda Akhter Sumi said, women in society should have a role in developing women's leadership. Now women are no longer behind. If every woman is educated, women's leadership will develop in society. Women's oppression, dowry system, and child marriage will stop. Every woman is the pride of society. If a mother is educated, her children and the nation will be educated. I have worked to ensure women's power and prevent anti-social acts like child marriage. I am always working alongside helpless, uprooted children who are victims of river erosion. She further said, I have a close relationship with the general public of the upazila. I have run for the post of Upazila Women Vice Chairman. I want to be by everyone's side as much as I can for the general public, including development under women's leadership. I hope that the general public will vote for me (with the ink mark) above party opinion. Sajeda Akhter Sumi, former Thana Chhatra League student affairs secretary, has served as the former Upazila Women's A'League general secretary. Currently, in addition to serving as the president of Upazila Women's A'League, she is also the women's affairs secretary of Kamalnagar Thana Community Policing and a member of the Upazila Terrorism and Militancy Eradication Committee.
