A visit has been conducted to verify the feasibility of setting up an industrial establishment of a multinational industrial group at Kamalnagar in Lakshmipur.

At 11 o'clock in the morning at 11 am on Monday, the Meghna coastal area of the upazila, Motirhat area, the multinational industrial company Hosaf Group Chairman Motazzzem Hossain and United Group official Sanjahani and other officials came around.

Esmut was also present, newly elected upazila chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi, who welcomed the company's chairman and officials during the visit.

During the visit, Hosaf Group Chairman Energy Prima Limited is constructing 100 MT Power Plant in Narottampur village under Choumuhani Municipality of Begumganj Upazila of Notakhali District, Hosaf Proupe Energy Prima Limited is constructing a landing project in Kamalnagar, a landing area for the construction of the plant in the work of Laxmipur Naval Port. The first step of which is the inspection.

On the other hand, the locals said that the multinational company Premium Group has already bought land in Motirhat to set up a factory.

Locals hope that Motirhat is moving towards becoming one of the most important areas of Lakshmipur due to the interest of multinational industrial groups.
