লক্ষীপুরের রামগতি উপজেলার আলেকজান্ডারের শিক্ষা গ্রামে ৭ বছরের শিশুকে ধর্ষনের অভিযোগ উঠেছে। সোমবার দুপুরে নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালে ভিকটিমকে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। তার ডাক্তারী পরীক্ষা সম্পন্ন হয়েছে বলে জানান চিকিৎসক। এ ঘটনায় স্থানীয় বখাটে যুবক ও ধর্ষণে অভিযুক্ত মো. মোহনকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। এর আগে বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে প্রাইভেট পড়তে যাওয়ার সময় শিশুটিকে বাগানে নিয়ে ওই বখাটে যুবক তাকে ধর্ষন করে বলে পরিবারের অভিযোগ।
ভিকটিমের মা জানান, বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুর ২টার দিকে বাড়ীর পাশে প্রাইভেট পড়তে যাওয়ার সময় পার্শবর্তী মোহন নামের এক বখাটে শিশুটিকে বাগানে নিয়ে ধর্ষন করে এবং তাকে মেরে ফেলার ভয় দেখায়। সে বিষয়টি প্রথমে জানায়নি পরে সে ব্যাথা অনুভব করলে বিষয়টি জানায়। এ ঘটনার বিচার দাবী করেন তিনি।
রামগতি থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (তদন্ত) মো: ইউসুফ ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করে জানান, ভিকটিমের বাবা বাদী হয়ে থানায় মামলার পক্রিয়া চলছে।
নোয়াখালী জেনারেল হাসপাতালের আবাসিক মেডিকেল অফিসার সৈয়দ মহিউদ্দিন আবদুল আজিম জানান, ভিকটিমের ডাক্তারী পরীক্ষা সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। সে চিকিৎসাধীন আছে।

Dhaka: A young woman named Shahinur Akhtar, who set herself on fire in Kamalnagar Upazila of Lakshmipur demanding recognition as a wife, has died while undergoing treatment at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital.

Doctors declared her dead at around 11:30 am on Monday (April 22). Earlier, she was admitted to the burn unit of DMCH on Sunday (April 21). Shahinur is the daughter of Zafar Alam of Sonagazi village in Raozan upazila of Chittagong.

Quoting doctors from the burn unit, Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Camp, said that 55 percent of Shahinur's body was burned.

The young woman who was burned while undergoing treatment at Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital said that Salah Uddin met her on her mobile phone. Later, a love affair developed. They got married a year and a half ago. During the marriage, Salah Uddin kept the news of his first wife and children a secret. When I came to know about this, I went from Chittagong to Kamalnagar and asked for my wife's recognition, Salah Uddin poured kerosene oil on my body and set it on fire.

Local UP member Hafiz Ullah and village policeman Abu Taher said that the locals asked the girl to bring her marriage papers. Later, the girl went to the market, took kerosene and went to a soybean field next to Salahuddin's house, set herself on fire and sat in a cowshed. At that time, women in the area ran and put out the fire with water.

He also said that at the beginning of the incident, the young woman said that she set herself on fire. After arriving at the hospital, she said that her husband set her on fire. The matter is mysterious.

Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) Alamgir Hossain said, "The smell of kerosene was found in the girl's bag. It seems that she carried the kerosene herself. Locals say that she set herself on fire. However, an investigation is underway to uncover the truth."

জাতীয়করন দেশের সকল এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধান আকুতি।এই আকাংখিত লালিত স্বপ্নকে বাস্তবায়নে প্রায় সকল শিক্ষক সংগঠনই একমত।কারন জাতীয়করন হলে একই মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়,কলেজ,বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পড়ুয়া একই মানের দুজন শিক্ষকের(এমপিওভুক্ত ও সরকারি) বেতন -ভাতা, আর্থিক সুবিধা ও সামাজিক সন্মান একই সারিতে আসবে।সাথে সাথে প্রাইমারি স্কুলের পিয়নের থেকে ও যেসব মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকের বেতন কম হওয়াতে মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষক যে অপমান বোধ করত , তার ও সুরাহা হবে।(সরকারি ও এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষক সমান হারে) অবসর পরবর্তী আরামে কিছুদিন কাটানো কিংবা সারা জীবনে থাকার ঠাই করতে না পারা মানুষগুলো একটা আশ্রয় নির্মান করতে পারত।কিংবা এক সাথে হজ্জ্বের ইচ্ছা করা দুজন মানুষ হজ্জ্ব ও করতে পারত।কিন্তু তার কোনটাই বাস্তবে দেখা যায়না।কারন সরকারি শিক্ষক প্রতি মাসের ১ তারিখে সময় মত বেতন পান,উৎসবে ১০০% বোনাস পান,বাড়ি করার ঋন পান,অবসরে গেলে সামান্য কিংবা টাকা জমা না দিয়েও অবসরের প্রথম বছরেই চাকরি জীবনের শেষ মাসের বেসিকের সমান ১০০ মাসের অবসর ভাতা পান।অথচ একজন এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষক উপরিউক্ত সুবিধার ধারে কাছে ও থাকেন না।এমনকি সারা জীবন নিজের ৬% করে টাকা জমা দেওয়ার পরে ও কমপক্ষে অবসরের ৭/৮ বছর পর ও নিজের জমানো টাকা উঠাতে জালিমের পিছনে লাইন ধরতে বাধ্য হন।সরকারি ও এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকের এই সমস্ত বৈষম্যর ফলেই এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকরা জাতীয়করন মুখী। তদুপরি সরকার এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকের অল্প বেতন থেকে ৬% অর্থ কেটে নেওয়ার পর কত টাকা জমা হল তার হিসেব না দেওয়া,কত% হারে লাভ দিবে তার সঠিক তথ্য না পৌছনো,আমার জমাকৃত টাকা অবসরের সময় আমায় দেরি করে দেওয়া কিংবা আমার মৃত্যর আগে না দেওয়া প্রভৃতি কারনেই শিক্ষকরা জাতীয়করন মুখী। অন্যদিকে অবসর কল্যান ট্রাস্টের এক কপি হিসেব সংগ্রহ করে জানলাম ৬% জমা দেওয়া শিক্ষক যারা ২০১৮ তে অবসরে গিয়েছেন তারা ক• অধ্যক্ষ ৩০ বছরে অবসর+ কল্যানে জমা দিয়েছেন ১০ লাখ ৮০ হাজার টাকা। অবসরে গেলে পাবেন ৪৬লাখ টাকা।এবার যদি হিসেব দেখি বর্তমান বাজারে জনতা,অগ্রনী,সোনালী সহ সব ব্যাংক প্রতি লাখে কত লাভ দেন, দেখা যায় প্রতি লাখে প্রতি মাসে কমপক্ষে এক হাজার তাহলে ঐ ১০ লাখ ৮০ হাজারে পেতেন চক্রবৃদ্ধি ছাড়া ৫০ লাখ,চক্রবৃদ্ধি সহ ৫৫ লাখ।তাহলে অবসর – কল্যান ট্রাস্টে জমা দিলে লস ৯ লাখ।( এটি ৬% হারে) ।তাহলে ১০% কর্তনে এই হারে হিসেব করলে অধ্যক্ষ পদে পাওনা হবে ৮২ লাখ।এমতাবস্থায় অবসর কল্যান ট্রাস্ট ৬% এর মত সুবিধা বহাল রেখে বাড়তি সুবিধা ঘোষনা না করে ১০% কর্তন করে শিক্ষকদেরকে বেকুব বানানোর চিন্তা নিতান্তই পাগলামি বৈই আর কিছুই নয়। প্রভাষক পদে ৬% হারে জমা হবে ৪লাখ ৯৬ হাজার ৮০০।পাবেন ২০লাখ ৯২ হাজার ৮০০।ব্যাংকে থাকলে পেত চক্রবৃদ্ধি ছাড়া ২৩ লাখ।চক্রবৃদ্ধি সহ ২৫ লাখ।লস ৪ লাখ ৮ হাজার।১০% কর্তনে প্রভাষক পদে পাওয়ার কথা ব্যাংক থেকে ৩৮ লাখ।তাহলে সুবিধা ঘোষনা না করে ১০% কর্তন অযৌক্তিক।সহকারি শিক্ষক বেসিক ১৬০০০ হলে ৬% হারে জমা হবে প্রায় ৩ লাখ ৪৫ হাজার ৬০০।পাবেন ১৪ লাখ ৫৬ হাজার। ব্যাংকে রাখলে পাওয়া যেত চক্রবৃদ্ধি ছাড়া ১৬লাখ ১০ হাজার ,চক্রবৃদ্ধি সহ ১৮ লাখ।লস ৪ লাখ ৪৪ হাজার।সহকারি শিক্ষক পদে ১০% কর্তনে পাওয়ার কথা ২৪ লাখ।বাড়তি সুবিধা ঘোষনা করা ছাড়া ১০% কর্তন প্রকাশ্য জুলুম। একই ভাবে উপাধ্যক্ষ,প্রধান শিক্ষক,সহকারি অধ্যাপক,সিনিয়র প্রভাষক পদে ও একই দূর্গতি।এমতাবস্থায় ১০% কর্তন করে একদিকে শিক্ষকদের প্রতি জুলুম হচ্ছে অন্যদিকে জাতীয়করন আন্দোলন বাধা গ্রস্ত হবে।১০% কর্তন বাস্তবায়ন হলে সরকারি ও এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকদের বেতন বৈষম্যে চরমে উঠবে।শিক্ষকরা যেখানে ১০০ ভাগ বেতন ই পাবেন না,বরং ১০ মাসে ১ মাসের বেতনই থাকবেনা সেখানে জাতীয়করন আন্দোলন বাধাগ্রস্ত হবে চরমভাবে। তাই ১০% কর্তন বাতিল করতে হবে, সরকারিদের ন্যায় অবসর – কল্যানে কোন অর্থ জমা না নিয়েই এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকদের অবসরের সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।তদুপরি ৬% কর্তনে যদি অবসর ভাতা, আগে চাকরি জীবনের শেষ মাসের বেতন হিসেবে ১০০ মাসের বেতন হয় তাহলে বাড়তি ৪% হিসেবে আর ও ৭৫ মাসের মোট ১০০+ ৭৫= ১৭৫ মাসের হওয়ার কথা।তাহলে ৭৫ মাসের বাড়তি অবসর ভাতা সুবিধা ঘোষনা না করে ১০% কর্তন নিতান্তই অযৌক্তিক।আরেকটি বিষয় লক্ষণীয় যে,যারা ৬% জমা দিয়েছেন এবং ২০১৮ সালের মধ্যই অবসর নিয়েছেন তাদের অবসর ভাতা মিটাতে বর্তমানের শিক্ষকদের বাড়তি ৪% চাঁদা দেওয়া লাগে তাহলে ২০২৮ সালে যিনি অবসর নিবেন তার সমস্যা সমাধানে আরো ৪% তথা ১৪ % চাঁদা দেওয়া লাগবেনা?আর এভাবে চলতে থাকলে চাঁদার পরিমান ক্রমাগত বাড়তেই থাকবে।এক সময় জাতীয়করন অান্দোলন সম্পুর্ন বাধাগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়বে।

The Ministry of Education has issued the Admission Policy for Class XI-2019. The policy for admission to Class XI for the 2019-20 academic year from the secondary and higher divisions was issued on Sunday (April 21).

According to the policy, applications for admission in the first phase will be accepted online and through SMS from May 12 and will continue until May 23. The results of the admission of the first phase students will be published on June 10. Applications for the second phase will be accepted on June 19 and 20 and applications for the third phase on June 24. Students will be admitted from June 27 to 30. Classes for class XI will begin on July 1.

A young woman named Shahenur Akhtar (24) has been admitted to the hospital after being burnt in a soybean field in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.

The woman, who is undergoing treatment at Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital, said that her husband Salahuddin set her on fire after she demanded his recognition.

Upon receiving the news, Lakshmipur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shafiuzzaman Bhuiyan and District Superintendent of Police (SP) ASM Mahatab Uddin visited the young woman at Sadar Hospital on Sunday (April 21) evening.

Earlier in the afternoon, he was rescued from a soybean field in Ayubnagar area of Charfalkon Union in Kamalnagar Upazila of Lakshmipur, in a burnt state.

Meanwhile, the doctor on duty has referred Shahenur to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College for advanced treatment as her condition is critical. The young woman has suffered burns on about 30 percent of her body, including her face and hands.

Shahenur is the daughter of Zafar Alam of Sonagaji village in Raozan upazila of Chittagong.

It is learned that Salauddin lives with his wife and two sons in Ayubnagar area of Char Falkon Union of Kamalnagar Upazila of Lakshmipur. Salauddin is a rickshaw puller by profession. His father's name is Mahar Ali.

Shahenur, a young woman who was burned and undergoing treatment, said that she met Salahuddin on her mobile phone. At one point, they got married at the Qazi's office about a year and a half ago. About 6 months ago, I came to know that Salahuddin was married. After hearing this, I came to Kamalnagar a few days ago. But I did not get recognition from my wife. I came to Lakshmipur again on Friday (April 19). But this time, my wife was not recognized. Salahuddin set me on fire because I wanted recognition from my wife.

Meanwhile, locals said that people gathered around the area after hearing the screams of a young woman who was burnt in a soybean field in the afternoon. She was taken to the Upazila Health Complex with burns all over her body, but the doctors on duty saw her condition deteriorating and transferred her to the Sadar Hospital.

Sadar Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Anwar Hossain said the burned girl was treated. She was referred to Dhaka as her condition is critical.

Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Lakshmipur): A woman named Taslima Akhtar (24) committed suicide by consuming poison in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.
The incident took place at the house of Abdul Hadi in Char Falkon, upazila, on Thursday afternoon (April 18).

The deceased's sister, Jannatul Ferdaus, said that Taslima married Raju of Char Falkon Union 9 years ago. Her sister committed suicide by consuming poison due to mental torture at her husband's house. The deceased Taslima has a 4-year-old daughter. Taslima is the daughter of Ayubnagar Md. Jamal of Char Falkon Union.

Upazila Police Station SI Jahangir Alam confirmed the incident. Preparations for the case are underway.

Bangladesh Madrasa General Teachers Association (BMGTA) Lakshmipur District Branch, one of the main and beloved teachers' organizations of Madrasas in Lakshmipur district, has called on the Teachers' Retirement Benefit Board and Teachers' Welfare Trust to withdraw the additional 4% deduction order from the April 2019 salary of teachers and employees of private educational institutions (schools, colleges, madrasas, technical schools). In a statement sent to Palli News on Wednesday, BMGTA Lakshmipur District Branch President Mohammad Ali, Assistant Professor Bhabani Gonj Fazil Madrasa and District General Secretary Firoz Alam, Lecturer and Department Head Ayesha (R:) Mahila Kamil (Hons.) Madrasa and District Organizing Secretary Md. The statement signed by Waji Ullah Jewel, Hazir Hat Hamediya Fazil Degree Madrasa said that the order to immediately cut the additional 4% of teachers has shown a thumbs down to the opinions of more than 550,000 people. Basically, a group is conspiring to make the government of People's Leader Sheikh Hasina controversial. A notification has been issued to deduct 10% from the salary of many people for April 2019. The matter is unreasonable, inhumane and nothing more than cheating many people. A• It is known that such steps are being taken to resolve the retirement allowance of retired teachers. According to sources in the Ministry of Information, currently 24353 retirement allowance applications are pending. 1759 crore 25 lakh taka is required to resolve these applications. In the 2018-2019 budget, a grant of 532 crore taka has been received to resolve this problem. 128 crore taka is deposited as FDR. 216 crore taka is deposited as STD, a total of 532+128+216=876 crore taka. With this money, it is possible to resolve the retirement allowance file until June 2017. However, the government is still stuck in 2015. The problem will be solved if another grant is received in the 2019-2020 financial year to resolve the remaining 9,000 applications. But the government, like the last budget, will solve the problem by allocating money in the 2019-2020 budget and stopping the deduction of 10%, but instead of doing so, it is forcing the deduction of 10% in advance. The matter is mysterious.

B•The government has taken up a plan to transform the country into a middle-income country (per capita income of $2000) by 2021 and a high-income country (per capita income of $10000) by 2041. For this, the government has taken a plan to transform the population into a public asset. The question is who will transform this population into a public asset? Certainly teachers. So, there are 3 months left for the new budget to come. In whose interest is the current 10% cut without solving the retirement allowance problem in the new budget?

C• The salary of a teacher under MPO is less than that of a primary school peon. The salary that is received is exhausted within 20 days of the month, and the remaining 10 days are spent on buying salt. They are deceiving more than 5.5 lakh people by deciding to deduct 10% in the next 3 months of the 2019-20 financial year without solving their retirement problem.

4• On the other hand, it is known that the government needs additional money of about 360 crore taka to prevent the 4% additional money deduction (information from the Ministry of Finance). In the budget of the 2018-2019 fiscal year, 500 crore taka was allocated for 5% increment and 20% Baisakhi allowance for 38262 MPO-affiliated institutions. The expenditure was 400 crore 84 lakhs + 133 crores = 600 crore 45 lakhs taka respectively. Even though there was an excess of 145 crore taka, it was easily resolved. If such a huge problem could be solved in the last budget, could it not have been solved in the new budget after 3 months? The unjust decision to cut 10% without doing so.

E• Before the national elections, the 10% deduction was postponed. Because the presiding, assistant presiding, and polling officers have 90% more. The government is in power today through these teachers. And with them, is this one way attitude before the elections and another after, not a fraud?

80% percent of the country's education system is being achieved through MPO-affiliated educational institutions. The President, Prime Minister, bureaucrats-secretaries, and government policy makers of this country have been created by those who have kept all the benefits of the policy makers intact. Today, the best children of the nation, teachers, have been given an increment of 5% in the 2018-19 budget and 4% cut for no reason. Finally, the new star of the East, the conscience of world humanity, a rare humanitarian leader, a beacon of world humanity, a pillar of women's rights, a leading leader of the humanitarian world, Joan of Arc, Mother of Humanity, a charismatic leader. I appeal to the Honorable Prime Minister to provide an additional allocation of 360 crores in the 2019-20 financial budget and do justice to more than 5.5 lakh people by eliminating the 4% additional cut.
