Swapnachura Foundation distributes winter clothes in Ramganj

The well-known social organization Swapnachura Foundation is distributing winter clothes, blankets and hoodies to cold-stricken people in Ramganj, Lakshmipur.

The blankets were distributed among about 400 cold-stricken people at the Chatala Augankhil Government Primary School grounds in Ramganj Municipality on Saturday (December 17) at 4 pm.

Ramganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Kartik Chandra Biswas spoke as the chief guest under the chairmanship of the organization's president, Mahabub Rabbani, and moderated by General Secretary Farhad Hossain.

It is worth noting that the organization officially started its journey in January 2020. So far, the organization has been conducting various activities including free blood donation to various patients, free blood grouping at various places, free medicine to cancer patients, and distribution of educational equipment to poor, helpless and talented students.
The organization has also distributed free masks during the Corona period, relief materials for the poor and helpless, and iftar and Eid items at various times.
Apart from this, Swapnachura Foundation is always involved in other developmental works of the society and such works that will benefit the society.




NCTF's annual general meeting and elections held in Netrakona

The annual general meeting and elections of the Netrakona district branch of the National Children's Federation (NCTF), which works to implement child rights across the country, were held on Saturday (December 17) afternoon.
District Children's Affairs Officer Mir Bablur Rahman inaugurated the formal activities of this general meeting and election at the Netrokona Municipality Auditorium.

School Admission start from tomorrow, have to obey the instructions

The admission process of public and private schools is starting from tomorrow Sunday (December 18), which will continue till December 21. The student admission process from the waiting list will continue from December 22 to 27.

This information has been informed in a circular signed by the Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Professor Nehal Ahmed, on December 15.

It is said in the notification, ‘Student selection process through digital lottery against vacant seats from entry class to ninth class in government (all) and private (in-metropolitan and district headquarters) secondary schools was held on December 12 and 13 respectively. The result sheets of the selected students in the lottery have already been sent to the concerned institutions.

The following points must be followed while taking admission of selected students through digital lottery.

1) Documents selected during admission should be thoroughly verified.

2) Original copy of student's birth certificate during verification of documents of selected students, online copy of birth certificate (will be verified online if applicable), original copy of national identity card of parents should be checked carefully.

3) If a student is selected (subjected verification) by providing false information, he cannot be admitted.

4) The same student who is selected multiple times by changing the birth registration number online, is selected multiple times by providing false information (subject to verification) cannot be admitted due to fraud.

5) Quota which is reserved in the last admission policy issued by the Ministry of Education, at the time of admission, the quota related documents of the selected students should be properly verified. If the vacant seats are not filled in the other reserved quota, only those vacant seats should be filled in the order of the waiting list from the general selected students.

6) Regarding the admission of brothers/brothers or twin brothers/sisters, the concerned admission committee will verify the application and take necessary measures for admission.




President calls for stopping anti-Constitution and anti-Liberation War activities
