A community policing rally was held on Sunday morning at the Chatkhil Police Station in Noakhali. Noakhali District Superintendent of Police Shahidul Islam PPM was present as the chief guest at the event.

The rally, chaired by Upazila Community Police President Billal Chowdhury, was addressed as special guests by Deepak Jyoti Khisa, who was recently promoted to Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police Nazmul Hasan Rajib PPM, and Chatkhil Municipality Mayor Nizam Uddin VP.
The event was moderated by Chatkhil Police Station Officer-in-Charge Gias Uddin, and was addressed by former UP Chairman Haider Kajal, Emrul Chowdhury Russell, Mojibur Rahman Nantu, former municipal councilor Ahsan Habib Sameer, VP Mizanur Rahman, Vice Principal of Women's College Faruk Siddiqui Farhad, Upazila Freedom Fighter Commander Rafiqul Islam, Chairman Bahar Alam Munshi, Mehedi Hasan Bahalul, Harunur Rashid Bahar, SM Baki Billah, Alamgir Hossain, Mahmud Hossain Torun, President of Chatkhil Municipality Community Police.

The low pressure area located over the east-central Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas has moved further northwestward, the Meteorological Department said. It is likely to affect the coast on Sunday.

"The low pressure was located 840 km south-southwest of Chittagong Seaport, 765 km south-southwest of Cox's Bazar Seaport, 830 km south of Mongla Seaport and 780 km south of Payra Seaport at 6 am today, Sunday. It may further intensify and move northwestwards."

'The maximum sustained wind speed within 44 km of the low pressure centre is 40 kmph, increasing to 50 kmph in gusts or squalls. The sea is rough in the area near the low pressure centre.' 'The seaports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been asked to display distant warning signal number one.

"All fishing boats and trawlers in the North Bay of Bengal and deep sea have been asked to operate with caution close to the coast. They have also been asked not to venture into the deep sea."

গতকাল শনিবার সকালে বিআরটিএ লক্ষ্মীপুর শাখার উদ্যোগে কালেক্টরেট ভবন প্রাঙ্গণ থেকে র‌্যালি শুরু হয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সড়ক প্রদক্ষিণ শেষে জেলা প্রশাসক সম্মেলন কক্ষে আলোচনা সভায় মিলিত  হয়।

এ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন লক্ষ্মীপুরের জেলা প্রশাসক মো. আনোয়ার হোসেন আকন্দ।
অতিরিক্ত জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মো. তোহিদুল ইসলাম-এর সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন সদর উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান এ কে এম সালাহ উদ্দিন টিপু।

এসময় বিআরটিএ লক্ষ্মীপুর কার্যালয়ের সহকারী পরিচালক মো: এনায়েত হোসেন মন্টু, নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই জেলা শাখার সহ-সভাপতি সেলিম উদ্দিন নিজামী, জেলা ট্রাক মালিক সমিতি সভাপতি মো: শাহ আলম প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন ।

প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরের উপরে উড়ছে ভিনগ্রহীদের যান। যাকে বলা হচ্ছে ইউএফও। এই যান নাকি একাধিক বৈমানিক চাক্ষুষ করেছেন। তাই ভিনগ্রহীদের যানের রহস্যভেদ করতে মাঠে নেমেছে নাসা মার্কিন মহাকাশ গবেষণা সংস্থা ।

নাসা ১৬ সদস্যের একটি বিশেষ টিম তৈরি করা হয়। বিভিন্ন বিভাগের গবেষকদের নিয়ে তৈরি সেই টিম খতিয়ে দেখবে বিমানচালকদের দাবি ও পর্যবেক্ষণের সত্যতা। হয়ত তাতেই এতদিনকার রহস্য উন্মোচন হবে।

টুইট করে নাসা জানায়, যারা ইউএফও স্বচক্ষে দেখেছেন বলে দাবি করছেন, তাদের নিয়ে আমরা ১৬ সদস্যের একটা টিম তৈরি করেছি। আকাশে উড়ন্ত অজানা বস্তু আসলে কী, সেই রহস্য ভেদ করতে পৃথকভাবে কাজ করবে এই টিম। ২৪ অক্টোবর থেকে নয় মাসের জন্য কাজ শুরু হবে। আশা করি, অজ্ঞাত বস্তুগুলোকে এবার চিহ্নিত করা সম্ভব হবে।

মাস দুয়েক ধরেই প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরীয় অঞ্চলের আকাশপথে এমন ইউএফও দৃশ্যমান হচ্ছে। তা ধরা পড়ছে গবেষকদের রাডারে। বিশেষত সাউথওয়েস্ট ও হাওয়াইয়ান এয়ারলাইন্সের একাধিক বিমান তার সাক্ষী। একই দাবি জানাচ্ছেন একাধিক পাইলট।

যাত্রীবাহী বিমানের চালক ছাড়াও রহস্যের ইঙ্গিত পেয়েছেন মার্কিন সেনাবাহিনীর বিমান চালকরাও। মার্কিন নৌবাহিনীর পক্ষে ডেপুটি ডিরেক্টর স্কট ব্রে বলছেন, ২০০০ সালের পর থেকে সেনাবাহিনীর প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য যেসব জায়গা, সেই অঞ্চলেই বেশি এ ধরনের অজানা উড়ন্ত বস্তু দেখা গিয়েছে। সেই সংখ্যা ক্রমশ বাড়ছে। ইউএফও বা অজ্ঞাত উড়ন্ত বস্তু নিয়ে যুগ যুগ ধরে মানুষের কৌতূহলের শেষ নেই। তার আসল পরিচয় জানতে কম গবেষণা হয়নি। তাতেও রহস্য উন্মোচন করা যায়নি। এখন নাসার তৈরি নতুন দল ইউএফও’র উৎস সম্পর্কে জানার চেষ্টা করবে।

All fishing boats and trawlers operating in North Bay of Bengal and deep sea have been asked to move cautiously from near the coast. Also they are told not to wander in the deep sea.

A mortar shell of Netrakona's Durgapur Upazila was found in 1953.

On Saturday (October 22) at noon, the driver of the upazila's Sadar Unit of the upazila found the mortar shell of Nazim Uddin's pond.

In the evening the news The police recovered the mortar shell and placed it in the devatoil playground near the scene, which is currently being kept away from the crowd for the police guard.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Durgapur Police Station. Abdul Hannan said that the mortar shell has been kept unexploded for public safety. The explosives expert team has been summoned to know the poison to the higher authorities.

আইন মেনে সড়কে চলি, নিরাপদে ঘরে ফিরি” এ প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে নেত্রকোনায় পালিত হয়েছে জাতীয় নিরাপদ সড়ক দিবস ২০২২। দিবসটি উদযাপন উপলক্ষ্যে শনিবার জেলা প্রশাসন ও বি আর টিয়ের আয়োজনে আলোচনা সভা ও র‍্যালি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

সকালে শহরের মোক্তারপাড়া মাঠ থেকে একটি বনার্ঢ্য র‍্যালি বের হয়ে মোক্তারপাড়া মগড়া নদীর ব্রিজ পার হয়ে জেলা প্রশাসকের কার্যালয়ে এসে শেষ হয়। পরে জেলা প্রশাসনের সম্মেলন কক্ষে দিবসটির উদ্যেশ্য নিয়ে আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

আলোচনা সভায় অতিরিক্ত জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট (এডিএম) আব্দুল্লাহ আল মনসুরের সভাপতিত্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেলা প্রশাসক ও বিজ্ঞ জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট অঞ্জনা খান মজলিশ। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পুলিশ সুপার মো.ফয়েজ আহমেদ, সিভিল সার্জন ডা. মো সেলিম মিঞা।

সভায় স্বাগত বক্তব্য রাখেন, জেলা বিআরটিএ সহকারী পরিচালক (ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং) আব্দুর রশিদ। এছাড়াও জেলা প্রশাসনের কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ, বিআরটিএ ও অন্যান্য দপ্তরের কর্মকর্তাগণ, মোটরযান মালিক-শ্রমিক সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ, স্থানীয় রাজনৈতিক প্রতিনিধিগণসহ বিভিন্ন সামাজিক নেতৃবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
