Drizzling rain is joining the cold stream
Drizzling rain is going to join with the cold current. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur in one or two places in Khulna, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions on Saturday. However, there is no chance of rain in the capital and central districts of the country. The sky may be slightly cloudy at some places.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature of the capital has dropped further today on Friday. However, the intensity of winter was less due to sunshine during the day. Cold current has swept across 11 districts and Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions of the country. Along with this, there was fog from morning to afternoon across the riverside areas and the north and north-western parts of the country. As a result, night traffic on waterways and highways becomes a problem.
Meteorologist Omar Farooq of the Department of Meteorology told Al-Ale, the clouds in the sky of the coastal districts of the country may rain in some places. After the clouds and rains leave, the temperature will drop from Monday and there may be another round of cold wave across the country. The cold spell can last for four to five days.
According to the observations of the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature in the country today was 8 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur. Apart from this, cold current is flowing across Faridpur, Madaripur, Comilla, Manikganj, Feni, Chuadanga, Jessore, Moulvibazar, Kushtia, Barisal and Bhola and Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. The cold front may move away from some areas of these districts on Saturday. Night and day temperatures may rise there.
