The Bangladesh Awami League-led grand alliance will form the government for the third consecutive time after winning the upcoming 11th national elections. Isolated violent incidents may occur across the country in the run-up to the elections to be held on December 30. As a result, the days after the elections will be marked by protests and movements. The government will suppress these well and earn everyone's praise. Astrologers also say that there will be political unrest from January to April. BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia may get bail through legal process in early 2019. Later, she may give a new call for movement. According to astrologers, 2019 will be a successful year for Bangladesh. Foreign investment in business and the stock market will increase further. The Awami League and the grand alliance will jointly win at least 220-230 seats in the 11th parliamentary elections. On the other hand, the BNP and the Oikyafront may get 70 to 75 seats. This election will be acceptable to all quarters. This will increase the reputation of the Election Commission at home and abroad. Besides, the Awami League will form a new government at the beginning of 2019. Anti-government movements and programs will not be successful in the new year 2019. Even though BNP has various programs including hartals against the government, the common people will not respond to them in a hopeful manner. The atmosphere of movement will prevail in the country for most of the new year. Dr. Ram Prasad Bhattacharya said that the current Election Commission will show success by holding acceptable elections. As a result, the trust of all quarters in the Election Commission will increase further. Besides, the Awami League will be active in forming a larger alliance by winning the 11th National Parliament election. Dr. Ram Prasad believes that the tension between the Awami League and the Jatiya Party will increase in this election.

লক্ষ্মীপুর-৪ (কমলনগর-রামগতি) আসনের মহাজোটের প্রার্থী বিকল্পধারার মহাসচিব মেজর (অব.) আবদুল মান্নান বলেছেন নৌকাতে ভোট দিলে দেশের উন্নয়ন হয়, দেশ এগিয়ে যায়, দেশের মানুষের ভাগ্যের পরিবর্তন হয়। জনগনের ভাগ্যের পরিবর্তন করতে হলে আওয়ামীলীগে যোগ দিতে হবে, নৌকায় ভোট দিতে হবে। নৌকায় উন্নয়ন, নৌকায় মঙ্গল, নৌকা ভবিষ্যৎ। এখন নৌকার পক্ষে গণজোয়ার। ৩০ তারিখ সবাই নৌকায় ভোট দিয়ে শেখ হাসিনাকে আবারও সরকার প্রধান করতে হবে।

বৃহস্পতিবার (২৭ ডিসেম্বর) রাত সাড়ে ৭ টায় কমলনগর উপজেলার হাজিরহাট হামেদিয়া ফাযিল ডিগ্রি মাদ্রাসার মাঠে নির্বাচনী পথসভায় তিনি এসব কথা বলেন।

তিনি আরও বলেন, মেঘনা নদীর ভাঙন প্রতিরোধ করে রামগতি কমলনগরকে পর্যটন কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলা হবে। এলাকায় শিল্পকারখানা গড়ে তোলে কর্মসংস্থানের সৃষ্টি করা হবে। এতে অর্থনৈতিকভাবে এগিয়ে যাবে এই জনপদ।

Journalists will be able to use motorcycles to gather news during the 11th National Parliament Election. However, they must use stickers provided by the Election Commission (EC).

EC Assistant Director (Public Relations) Ashadul Haque informed the media about this on Thursday afternoon.
He said, "The Election Commission has lifted the ban on journalists' motorcycles. A circular in this regard will be issued by today. However, all journalists must use the stickers prescribed by the EC."‘

Earlier, the Election Commission had issued a policy on December 21 and imposed the ban. After that, various journalist organizations and intellectuals of the country opposed it. The journalists strongly protested the decision despite holding a meeting with the EC on Tuesday. As a result, the Election Commission held a discussion on the matter on Wednesday.

বুধবার (২৬ ডিসেম্বর) সকালে আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, যশোর, চুয়াডাঙ্গা, সাতক্ষীরা, গোপালগঞ্জ ও বরিশাল অঞ্চলসহ রংপুর ও রাজশাহী বিভাগের উপর দিয়ে মৃদু থেকে মাঝারি ধরনের শৈত্যপ্রবাহ বয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং তা অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে।

আবহাওয়াবিদ আব্দুল মান্নান বলেন, দেশে পশ্চিম অংশে শৈত্যপ্রবাহ শুরু হয়েছে। এখনকার পূর্বাভাস অনুযায়ী এটা আগামী ২ থেকে ৩ দিন অব্যাহত থাকবে। শৈত্যপ্রবাহের এলাকা আরও বাড়বে। তবে এই মুহূর্তে যে প্যাটার্নটা আছে তাতে শৈত্যপ্রবাহ তীব্র আকার ধারণ করার সম্ভাবনা নেই।

তিনি আরও বলেন, শৈত্যপ্রবাহের কাভারেজ এরিয়া বাড়লেও তা ঢাকায় আসবে বলে মনে হচ্ছে না। কারণ ঢাকায় উচ্চ ভবনসহ এখানকার অবকাঠামো এমন যে, শৈত্যপ্রবাহ অনুভূত হওয়া কঠিন। তবে ঢাকার আশপাশে শৈত্যপ্রবাহ প্রায় এসে গেছে।

বাতাসের তাপমাত্রা ৬ থেকে ৮ ডিগ্রির মধ্যে হলে মাঝারি ও তাপমাত্রা ৮ ডিগ্রির চেয়ে বেশি থেকে ১০ ডিগ্রির মধ্যে হলে তাকে মৃদু শৈত্যপ্রবাহ বলে। তাপমাত্রা ৬ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াসের নিচে হলে তাকে বলে তীব্র শৈত্যপ্রবাহ।

আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তরের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, বুধবার সকালে দেশের সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে রাজশাহীতে, সেখানে সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা ৭ দশমিক ৪ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। এ ছাড়া চুয়াডাঙ্গায় ৭ দশমিক ৫, দিনাজপুরে ৮, বদলগাছীতে ৮ দশমিক ৪, ঈশ্বরদীতে ৮ দশমিক ৮ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে। বুধবার ঢাকায় সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা ১৫ দশমিক ৪ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস।

বুধবার সকাল ৯টা থেকে আগামী ২৪ ঘণ্টার আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, অস্থায়ীভাবে আংশিক মেঘলা আকাশসহ সারাদেশের আবহাওয়া শুষ্ক থাকতে পারে। শেষরাত থেকে সকাল পর্যন্ত দেশের কোথাও কোথাও হালকা থেকে মাঝারি ধরনের কুয়াশা পড়তে পারে।

এ সময়ে সারাদেশে রাতের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য কমতে পারে এবং দিনের তাপমাত্রা প্রায় অপরিবর্তিত থাকতে পারে বলেও পূর্বাভাসে জানানো হয়েছে।

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, everyone must remain united. If we are united, no one can defeat the boat. The Prime Minister commented that BNP is creating a violent situation knowing that it will not get votes.

He made these remarks while addressing election rallies in Chandpur, Kushtia and Naogaon via video conference from his residence Sudhasadan in the capital's Dhanmondi on Wednesday afternoon.
The Prime Minister condemned Dr. Kamal Hossain's bad behavior with the election commissioners. Referring to Dr. Kamal Hossain, the Prime Minister said, "Such a great man, such a great international celebrity, such dirty language does not befit his face."

He said, "You should stop such terrorist behavior. The people of the country do not like such cowardice and terrorist behavior."

The Prime Minister said, "We have worked for the people in 10 years. The people of the country have achieved development. People of every class and profession are doing well. We have almost eradicated militancy and terrorism. If we come to power in the future, we will make the country drug-free."

The Prime Minister addressed a public meeting in Kushtia at the beginning of the video conference. During this, she introduced the party candidates from Kushtia.
