Government officials involved in question leak: ACC

Anti-Corruption Commissioner Dr. Nasir Uddin has commented that government officials are directly and indirectly involved in the question leak. However, he also said that it is possible to make the education system free of corruption across the country with the Education Ministry's own circular.

The ACC commissioner made these remarks during a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) with Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at the Ministry of Education on Sunday. Other officials of the Ministry of Education were present at the time.

The ACC Commissioner said that all educational institutions in remote areas should make arrangements to make all general work, including the activities of the governing body, online. At the same time, Dr. Nasir Uddin emphasized the need to seek advice from experts on how to prevent question paper leaks using technology.

ACC Director General (Special Investigation and Investigation) Md. Asaduzzaman said that corruption is rampant at every level of the entire education system. He presented 39 specific recommendations on behalf of the ACC at the meeting to eradicate this corruption.

However, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid believes that some teachers are involved in the question paper leak. He said, "We are receiving many suggestions to prevent question paper leaks. Among them, the issue of sending question papers after students enter the room half an hour before the exam is being discussed."
But what's the point of sending questions half an hour in advance when the teacher is the one leaking the questions? We at BG Press have taken various initiatives to prevent question leaks.

The minister said, "We should hand over the questions to the teacher and go to sleep safely at night. But that is not happening, the question papers are being leaked. Some teachers are leaking the questions. As a result, we have finally decided that the examinees will enter the hall half an hour before and then the questions will be provided to the hall."
