Lakshmipur: Alexander Model Pilot High School in Ramgati Upazila of Lakshmipur, Hazirhat Millat Academy in Kamalnagar Upazila, and 37 more upazila high schools will be nationalized. The Prime Minister has given his consent to the nationalization of these schools.
At the same time, the ministry has directed the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHHE) to impose a ban on new teacher and staff appointments, promotions and property transfers. A letter of instructions in this regard was sent to DSHHE on Tuesday.
A letter sent to the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education, signed by the Prime Minister's Private Secretary-1 Sajjadul Hasan, said that the Prime Minister has agreed to nationalize 37 high schools.
The instructions given to Maushi said that in line with the Prime Minister's announcement, in the continuation of nationalizing one school and college in each upazila without government schools and colleges, the 37 schools approved by the Prime Minister for nationalization should be inspected immediately and a detailed report with clear opinions should be sent to the ministry. At the same time, it has been asked to immediately impose a ban on all types of appointments, promotions and transfer of movable and immovable property in these schools.

When asked about this, Maushi Director (Secondary) Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan said, "We will quickly inspect the schools and send a report to the ministry. We will issue a ban on the appointment, promotion and transfer of movable and immovable property of teachers and employees."
