Widow's mother's press conference: Allegation of framing freedom fighter's son in murder case in Kamalnagar

Lakshmipur
In Kamalnagar, Laxmipur, there have been allegations of harassment against freedom fighter Md. Mohsin's son Mahmudul Hasan Hiroo by accusing him in a murder case. The family has demanded a judicial investigation into the case and has sought the intervention of the administration. The demand was made at a press conference at the Kamalnagar Press Club on Wednesday (September 20) afternoon.
In a written statement to the press conference, Rebecca Mohsin said that the husband of a freedom fighter from Char Jangaliya village in the upazila, Md. Mohsin, died in 2012. He was a teacher at Hazirhat Millat Academy. For a long time, her husband's half-brother (brother-in-law) Md. Chana Ullah had been in a dispute with the tehsildar over land. After her husband's death, Chana Ullah proposed marriage to her to seize the property. When she did not agree, she resorted to various conspiracies. On May 29, 2016, Md. Maqsud (26), a peon of the Freedom Fighters Club in the Char Lawrence area, went missing. Eight days after the incident, the police recovered his melted body from inside the safety tank of Chana Ullah's house. In this incident, the deceased's brother Belal Hossain filed a case with the police station that night, accusing 4-5 unknown people. His son's name was not in the complaint in the case. Later, a group of criminals including Chana Ulya managed to get the police to file a final report (chargesheet) in court, accusing her son Mahmudul Hasan Hiru as the third accused.
He further said, "My son is not involved in the murder. I also want justice for those involved in this murder. Only a judicial investigation by examining the evidence seized to unravel the mystery of the murder and examining it will reveal the real incident." For this reason, he has sought the intervention of the administration.

Suu Kyi is a disgrace on her own Facebook page

The current issue in Myanmar is the persecution and genocide of the Rohingya. The country's army is committing brutal torture and horrific incidents against the Muslim Rohingya living in the country's Arakan State.
Protests are taking place in various countries around the world over this issue. Despite being silent on the issue for a long time, the country's ruling party leader Aung San Suu Kyi is facing severe criticism for speaking out in support of the military. Questions are also being raised about why Suu Kyi, who came to power by talking about human rights, is now condoning such anti-humanitarian government activities.

Despite protests and rallies against her in various countries, the criticism does not stop on her Facebook page. This leader, who received the Nobel Peace Prize, is facing criticism and questions in various posts on her Facebook page. Many have demanded that her Nobel Prize be taken away. However, she does not care about all this. Suu Kyi recently announced that she will not attend the UN session.

On Sunday, a visit to Suu Kyi's verified Facebook page revealed that her cover photo was filled with criticism, protests and sarcasm. As of this afternoon, Suu Kyi's page's cover photo alone had received around 17,500 comments, the majority of which were made demanding an end to the military's persecution of the Rohingya. Many also commented by sharing the photo.

The cover photo posted on April 13, 2016, shows Suu Kyi taking the oath. Not all of the commenters on the photo are Bangladeshis affected by or concerned about the Rohingya influx. Not all of them are Muslim. But they almost all agree on the issue of stopping the persecution.

Also, many people said that they used to like Aung San Suu Kyi very much. They even loved Suu Kyi, who was under house arrest and fought for human rights. They considered her a symbol of fighting for humanity. But now Suu Kyi is a name they hate.

In addition to discussing, convincing, threatening, and arguing for and against, many Facebook users have also commented, praying for the safety of the Rohingya and for Suu Kyi and her government to come to their senses.
